　　這個(gè)習(xí)慣用語的意思當(dāng)然不是穿上蒙面的緊身衣去干殺人的勾當(dāng)；它是指“打扮得漂亮入時(shí)、奪人眼球”。

　　人們說某人dressed to kill時(shí)，通常是指這人精心打扮以吸引異性的注意。例：
